
The Filmmakers
Sophie Daniel is an Oscar shortlisted documentary film producer, currently working as Managing Director at Docsville Studios. Her feature doc credits include, Death Without Mercy (directed by Waad Al-Kateab), Sisters Interrupted (premiered at Raindance 2024), Rainbow Warrior (premiered at Doc NYC 2023), and is currently in production on The Life of Reverend Jesse Jackson (working title) as well as a feature doc for Sky about the Klitshko brothers and the war in Ukraine (directed by Kevin MacDonald). She recently produced a short documentary called Last Song From Kabul, shortlisted for the 96th academy awards, directed by Kevin Macdonald. She has three more feature docs in development that have not yet been announced. Sophie has also produced a number of narrative short films.
Chelsea Leyland is a born and bred Londoner living in Brooklyn NY. She has worked as a deejay for 10+ years alongside brands such as Chanel, Valentino, and Fendi, opening for acts such as Duran Duran and Diplo. Chelsea; who has a passion for wellness, is also the proud co-founder of Looni, a new menstrual health and wellness company on a mission to elevate the menstrual cycle and demystify hormonal health. Looni offers support through education and innovative, science-backed offerings. As an epilepsy, endometriosis, and plant medicine activist with a passion for building community and supporting others Chelsea produced and was featured in the documentary ‘Sisters Interrupted’ which was recently accepted to Raindance film festival in London. She has been invited to speak at the European Parliament and Cambridge University about her journey with epilepsy and medical cannabis.
